Welcome to Southern Furniture!!!  We are a family owned and operated business. Owned and operated by Karen McQueen.  We have served the New River Valley and all of Southwest Virginia for 52 years.

Our company motto is LOW OVERHEAD-LOW PRICES. We work hard to bring our customers the best in name brand furniture and  mattresses at the lowest possible price, as a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

We welcome everyone to come in and browse our huge selection, and no high pressure sales people, no (million dollar) buildings to pay for, just hometown people to help you with your furniture selection.

We can special order most brands and we offer NO INTEREST financing with  approval, layaway, or delivery pickup.

Our Story

Southern Furniture - VA* has been proudly serving the Radford area for years. We're a family-owned and operated furniture store that was built on a simple idea: families deserve quality furniture at honest prices.

Our owner started this business because they saw too many families paying inflated prices at big-box stores and chain retailers. By working directly with manufacturers and keeping our operations lean, we're able to offer the same name-brand furniture at significantly lower prices. That's not a sales pitch. It's our business model.

Many of our products are available with 3D viewing, so you can see every angle of a piece before you buy it. Some items can even be previewed in your own room using augmented reality on your phone.
